Two of Deke's primary tenets are alumni relations and community service, and “The 100-Hour Day” supported both through an event that served two Bloomington/Monroe County non-profits -- an alternative school and a county park -- as well as involved Deke alumni, actives, and three dads in a project that made introductions and helped build a stronger brotherhood across generations and across chapters.
