Centre fraternity suspended

 

 

DANVILLE, KY-The Iota chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity was suspended by Centre College as announced Friday, March 14.

 

The Centre College fraternity was on probationary status for the 2002-03 academic year. The suspension was triggered by an unapproved off-campus pledging event.

 

The suspension status of the fraternity will be upheld until the end of the spring 2003 semester. For the remainder of the semester, the members will still be able to live in their current campus housing, but will not be allowed to engage in any fraternity activities. At the conclusion of the spring 2003 semester, a formal review of chapter recognition will be made.
