Gentlemen – We have set up an account with the Whitney National Bank for the benefit on Michael Owens, Jr. (Mikey) the sole survivor of yesterday’s tragic fire, and the son of Mike Owens, Tau Lambda '85 and his wife Lisa, who died. The fund will be administered by Mike’s brother-in-law, Jim Brooks, who will attempt to make certain that the money goes directly for little Mikey’s benefit. I have made an initial modest donation of $2,500 to get the Fund started. Donations can be made in the follow manner:
1. Any Whitney Bank location with checks made payable to The Michael Owens Fund.
